'LEARNING EVERYDAY'

My team had the privilege of analyzing Chicago's kindergarten education system as part of a behavior case competition organized by the Bureau of Partnerships and Collaboration, Division of Early Childhood, at the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS). Our strategy, 'KinderReady: Assess, Address, Advance,' was developed through the framework of the Theory of Planned Behaviour to positively nudge attitudes, enhance perceived behavioral control, and shape subjective norms surrounding the concept of 'LearningEveryday.' Our primary objective was to address the challenges causing an intention-action gap among parents, a crucial stakeholder in the system. Through our targeted efforts, we aimed to significantly raise the aggregate kindergarten readiness rate in Chicago from 22% to 32% over a span of two years."
